FlamesarethusleadthroughtheopeningtotheLCCforpost‐combustionofthegases.
6.2.1Automaticregulation forcombustionair
Thestoveisequippedwithanindepe ndentandself‐regulatingairdamper.Hencethereisno
damperhandle.
Theprimaryairisaddedtotheprimarycombustionzone,i.e.thebedofglowingembers.Thecold
airisonlyusedinthelightingstage.
Secondaryairisaddedinthegascombustionzone,i.e.airwhichcontributestothecombustionof
thepyrolysisgases(preheatedair,whichisusedforthecleanerglasssystemandthecombustion).
Thisisairsuckedthroughthedamperandispre‐heatedthroughthesidechannelsandthen
emitted
ashotscavengingairontotheglass.Thehotairrinsestheglassandkeepsitsootfree.
Acleancombustionisindicatedbyclearyellowflames.
Thepilotnozzlesareplacedinthebackplateoftheuppercombustionchamber.Theyensurethat
thebedofglowingembersis
fedwithairandthereforeholdsahightemperature.Itprovidesaquick
startwhenre‐fuellingandreducestheriskoffiregoingout.
